“Diploma” is issued only when you graduate or finish your course, so we don’t recommend you to use diploma for attestation. Once attested, you cannot use it anymore. Highly recommend you to get “Graduation Certificate” 卒業証明書 (Sotsugyo-shomeisho) in Japanese.
Depending on the University, you can directly apply for the issuance online, but some University needs Power of Attorney and third agent in Japan. Therefore, please contact your University first and check the process.
*University in Japan, they don’t certify the true copy of the diploma
Depending on the universities, the process of obtaining new certificates differs. We can contact your university and inform you the required steps and documents for obtaining your new certificates.
We will receive your certificates at our office in Tokyo, Japan by post. You do not need to arrange international postage to receive your original certificates from the university to your country.
As we received your certificates directly from your university, we can get apostille by MOFA Japan on them stating that your certificates are true and correct. *We cannot guarantee that apostilled certificates will be accepted by the organs you submit them to.
We will dispatch the apostilled certificates to inside and outside of Japan. You can receive your apositilled certificates at your home country!
Certificates which are issued at convenience stores and marked ‘POPITA’ DO NOT meet the requirement of legalization by MOFA Japan. When you need the legalization by MOFA Japan and attestation by the embassies in Japan, you have to get the certificates directly issued by the universities.
Most of the University’s Academic Certificates cannot directly get Apostilled by MOFA Japan. They have to be notarized first and then can get Apostilled. When you need apostille, we can consult the way of obtaining apostille on your academic certificates!
